How We Started

The Livre Business Story

We started prototyping in a shared workspace in Bristol in 2021 with one fixed rule: nothing on the site would ever cost a player a penny. Priya, Tom, and Lena had all worked at studios where monetisation slowly bent the fun out of shape, and they wanted to prove it didn't have to.

Livre Business launched its first two games in early 2022, entirely browser-based, entirely free. We've added Prestige Chips, daily bonuses, and Chip himself since then — but the original rule hasn't moved an inch. No real money in, no real money out, no exceptions.

Penthouse Drop is Livre City's answer to gravity. You stand on the rooftop, flick a golden Prestige Chip over the edge, and watch it ricochet through seven floors of glowing pegs. The building's architecture is stacked in your favour — the outer floors pay the highest multipliers, the middle is a soft landing. There's something quietly cinematic about watching it find its way down.

Choose a bet between 15 and 150 Prestige Chips and press Drop. Your chip falls through seven rows of pegs, nudging left or right at each one. Where it lands at the bottom picks your multiplier — from 1× at centre up to 15× on the outer edges. A 150-chip bet on an outer slot returns 2,250 Prestige Chips.
